At our regular meeting Tuesday, July 16, 2024, The Village Council voted 5-0 in favor of discontinuing all discussion pertaining to a possible Railroad Quiet Zone that would have effected the two train crossings within the Village Limits. The Quiet Zone will not move forward. This vote reflects one abstention, Arlene VonHout and one absent Trustee, Alyssa Schwili.
